2. Information We Do Not Collect

Altairys is a client-side tool suite. All tool operations — image processing, calculations, text analysis, hash generation, and more — happen entirely in your browser. We do not:

• Upload your files or images to any server
• Store or log your inputs (numbers, text, passwords you generate)
• Require registration, login, or personal information
• Sell or share your data with third parties for profiling

3. Information Automatically Collected

Like most websites, our hosting provider (Firebase / Google Cloud) may automatically record standard server logs including:

• IP address (anonymised after processing)
• Browser type and version
• Pages visited and timestamps
• Referring URL

This data is used solely for security and performance monitoring and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Google Analytics

We may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns (e.g., which tools are most popular). Google Analytics uses cookies. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. Google AdSense and Advertising Cookies

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on Altairys. Advertising helps keep every tool on this site free to use.

Altairys itself does not set first-party cookies for tool functionality. Third-party services (Google AdSense, Google Analytics, Google Fonts) may set cookies as described in their own privacy policies. You can control or delete cookies via your browser settings, and you can withdraw or change your consent at any time using the cookie banner shown on your first visit.

Because Altairys processes your tool inputs entirely in your browser, we hold very little data about you — but where we do, you have the right to:

• Restriction — ask us to limit how we process your data

• Withdraw consent — withdraw analytics or advertising consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing
• Complain — lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, the use of third-party advertising cookies may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising under the CPRA. You can opt out by disabling personalised ads in Google Ads Settings, by declining non-essential cookies in our cookie banner, or by enabling the Global Privacy Control signal in a supporting browser. 9. Data Retention and International Transfers

Tool inputs are never transmitted to us and therefore never retained. Server access logs held by our hosting provider are retained for a limited period for security and performance monitoring. Aggregate analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' configured retention period.

Altairys is hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure, and our analytics and advertising providers operate globally. This means data such as your IP address may be processed in countries outside your own, including the United States. Google relies on Standard Contractual Clauses and other approved transfer mechanisms for such transfers.

10. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to external sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

11. Children's Privacy

Altairys is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Some sections of the site, such as our games and story pages, may appeal to a general audience including families; even so, no account or personal information is ever required to use them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of Altairys after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
